As the founding Directors, we continue to champion a positive and engaging approach to seeking planning permission and finding different ways work with the system. Whether promoting Local Development Orders, engaging with Development Plan production or managing planning applications, Copperfield always seeks to be at the forefront.

Over the years Colin has had the privilege of providing planning leadership on some of the UKs most exciting and important development projects. Colin's dedication to finding planning solutions and his attention to detail have led to him becoming one of the most sought after planning specialists in his field. Colin has spent the last 10 years as Planning Director for Stantec and Origin 3 focused on delivering planning services to a wide range of clients across the UK. His role includes managing multi-disciplinary teams to promote land through the Local Plan process and achieve planning permission on major development sites and Garden Communities. His expertise has been utilised on land promotion through Local Plan examination process and in providing expert witness during planning appeal and inquiry work. With an enviable track record of planning successes, Colin continues to work with a wide range of clients and to adapt his approach to project delivery to help define and match client needs.
Andrew has worked for some of the biggest residential development company’s and regeneration specialists in the UK, in land buying and land promotion roles as well as leading planning teams. Andrew’s commercial leadership is innovative and wide ranging. As Managing Director for the Linden Homes Strategic Land business, Andrew was responsible for developing a business strategy and significantly expanding the companies’ strategic land operation overseeing the acquisition of more than 50 sites in 3 years and establishing a pipeline of development projects for Linden Homes residential business. Andrew has held senior roles as Land Director for Taylor Wimpey and Head of Planning for St Modwen’s Strategic Land and Regeneration business. Andrew is one of the leading experts in the UK at identifying and promoting land for development and has a clear understanding of the commercial factors that underpin the successful delivery of projects.
